Configuration-first supplier matching

Electric shuttle bus dealer alternatives on one RFQ basis

ShuttleVolt Desk helps business buyers assemble a quotation brief, identify candidate original manufacturers and trace proposal differences. It does not sell its own buses or hold inventory and does not claim authorized dealer status.

Four decisions that make supplier responses usable

Duty

Define student age group, route length, road grade, climate, stop frequency, daily cycles and depot constraints. These facts frame body, heating/cooling and powertrain questions.

Configuration

Record passenger capacity, seat layout, wheelchair positions, doors, wheelbase, GVWR and restraint needs. Label mandatory and negotiable choices.

Quantity

State units per configuration and whether deliveries may be staged. A mixed fleet should not be quoted as one undefined vehicle.

Destination

Give the state or port, Incoterm, requested delivery window, inspection point and expected document handoff.

Electric shuttle bus manufacturer sourcing questions

Can ShuttleVolt Desk confirm stock, MOQ or lead time?

No. Candidate factories must confirm current availability, order quantity and production timing for the exact specification.

How are alternative configurations handled?

Each alternative is logged with the changed seating, rating, powertrain, option, document or delivery assumption. A lower vehicle price is not treated as equivalent when the scope changes.

Does sourcing replace inspection?

No. Inspection scope and timing are buyer decisions and supplier deliverables that must be agreed separately. Used vehicles require unit-level evidence and an inspection plan.

Are FMVSS or EPA outcomes promised?

No. Exact-model materials are requested for review, but applicability and acceptance depend on configuration, model year and destination authorities or qualified advisers.

How should budget and supplier preference be used?

They help frame high-end, mid-range, budget or undecided trade-offs. They are buyer preferences, not supplier ratings, and do not replace a specification.
